2012 Detroit Pistons #9 pick Andre Drummond remembers being woken up early in the morning by his agent for a pre-draft workout with the 3x NBA champs.

“I worked out for Detroit at like 4 in the morning the night before the draft. I was sleeping and my agent called me, he was like, ‘Are you awake?’ I said, ‘No, I’m not awake.’ He was like, ‘Well, I need you to get up and get dressed.’ I said, ‘What for?’ He was like, ‘I need you to get up and get dressed, you’re gonna go work out with Detroit.’ I’m like, ‘What am I gonna go work out for Detroit for?
