AJ Griffin: I was surprised about my lack of minutes this season
Atlanta Hawks small forward AJ Griffin will be using his lack of playing time as motivation this summer (averaged 8.6 MPG during 2023-24).

Reporter: “Were you maybe surprised about the lack of minutes that you were not able to get this season?”
Griffin: “Yeah, I definitely was. Of course it wasn’t something I went into expecting, and I think that motivates me to attack the summer, just build up my body, play a lot more, and show what I can do to earn those minutes.”
