The Giants came into the game with three starting cornerbacks (Deonte Banks, Cor’Dale Flott, Andru Phillips), their defensive play caller (Bobby Okereke), and interior defensive lineman Rakeem Nunez-Roches all inactive due to injuries. Drew Lock, the starter at quarterback for the past two weeks was bumped to emergency status with heel and elbow issues.
Quarterback Tommy DeVito left the game right before halftime to be evaluated for a concussion. He was ruled out shortly after. Tim Boyle took over after halftime.
Wide receiver Malik Nabers left the game early in the third quarter after he was accidentally cleated in the lower leg by teammate Chris Manhertz. He returned two plays later.
Reserve linebacker/special teamer Patrick Johnson left the game in the second quarter with a knee injury.
Wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson injured his shoulder in the second half but eventually returned to the game.
Linebacker Brian Burns, already battling injuries, was banged up but stayed on the field.
