Week 4 staff picks and predictions

This year’s matchup between the Giants and Cowboys is shaping up to be very different from last year’s season opener, which no one wants to talk about. This year, the teams appear to be more evenly matched — on paper anyway. Both teams are 1-2 because they both beat the Browns. But the Cowboys haven’t looked great since that Week 1 win, and the Giants just got their first win this past week.

It’s a short week for everyone, and that means momentum is a huge factor. The Giants are feeling good coming off of a win and they’re at home. The Cowboys are looking to regain some momentum to turn their season around, but it won’t be easy in a hostile environment. If this was a normal week, I’d probably give the Cowboys the nod just because of their history. But this time I’m going to give the Giants the nod at home.

They’ll probably make me regret it, but they win in a close one at home.
