Chennedy Carter gets standing ovation in first game since vicious racist attack on Caitlin Clark

Chennedy Carter received a standing ovation from the Chicago Sky’s home crowd on Tuesday, following her controversial foul against Caitlin Clark in Saturday’s 71-70 loss to the Fever.

The 25-year-old guard scored 16 points, grabbed three rebounds, and had two assists in the Sky’s 88-75 loss. Carter said postgame that it “felt good” to have the support of Sky fans.

“It felt good to know that SkyTown supports me, the fans got loud and that ultimately just got me going, it gave me confidence, soon as I came in, they gave me confidence, so I started feeling it, I’m like the crowd’s with you, your team is with you, let’s go,” she said.
