6 Highlights from the 6-Hour Xbox Livestream at Gamescom 2022

Gamescom 2022 is here with tons of exciting updates, gameplay, trailers and exclusives. So far, there were several announcements from Gamescom Opening Night Live, including the reveal of the DualSense Edge PS5 controller and much more. Then, Gamescom Day 2 kept up the hype with new trailers, exclusive interviews and more from games including The Callisto Protocol, A Plague Tale: Requiem, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and Steelrising.

Following the first two days of Gamescom excitement, Xbox pretty much took over Gamescom Day 3 with six hours of developer interviews and gameplay from titles including Microsoft Flight Simulator, Lies of P, Minecraft Legends, Pentiment, Sea of Thieves, and more.

6 Xbox Highlights from Gamescom 2022

As one of the biggest participants at Gamescom this year, there’s a lot to recap from Xbox’s six-hour stream and in-person booth highlights. Here are the biggest Xbox highlights from Gamescom 2022 to catch you up to speed.

1. Microsoft Flight Simulator – Update

See the new Germany City Update in Microsoft Flight Simulator, the newest Local Legend, the 40th Anniversary Update and more during this Xbox Booth Showcase during Gamescom 2022.

2. A Plague Tale: Requiem – New Look

Join Game Director of Asobo Studio, Kevin Choteau as we get a new look at the gameplay for A Plague Tale: Requiem, releasing October 18.

3. Lies of P – Interview

4. Sea of Thieves – Developer Interview

6. High on Life – Developer Interview

High on Life from Justin Roiland has you taking the seat of an aimless Teenager fending off Aliens who consider humans the greatest drug in the galaxy. How to Rewatch the Full Xbox Livestream

Gamescom’s Xbox event took place on Thursday, August 25 and lasted nearly 6 hours. You can watch or rewatch the Xbox stream from Gamescom 2022 including footage from the Xbox booth and gameplay clips on YouTube.
