Zion Williamson aims “to do his part” in making Pelicans winning franchise
Pelicans’ star Zion Williamson is determined to leave behind his injury-stricken past and contribute to the team’s success.
Following a season of setbacks, the 23-year-old forward dedicated his offseason to recovery and preparing for a full 82-game season.
Williamson emphasized, “Priority #1 was to get better for my teammates, get better for the city, and do my part to make this a winning franchise,” during an appearance on SiriusXM NBA Radio.
Williamson averaged 25.8 points, 7 rebounds and 3.6 assists in 32 minutes over 114 NBA games over four years.
