Zalgiris Kaunas budget for 2023-24 season revealed
Zalgiris Kaunas GM, Paulius Jankunas, shared financial stats at a press conference. Last year’s income exceeded projections at €14.2 million, driven by strong ticket sales.
Costs totaled €13.1 million, yielding a €1 million profit. This year’s budget is €13 million, with €8.6 million for player salaries. The aim is to break even despite losing player Ignas Brazdeikis.
Zalgiris Kaunas exceeded expectations last season and got to the EuroLeague Playoffs. It allowed the club to have its biggest budget in history.
