‘WWHL’: Kyle Richards Admits She’s Going Out Of Her Way To Avoid Mentioning Morgan Wade On ‘RHOBH’

Don’t expect Kyle Richards to mention Morgan Wade on this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On Tuesday night’s (Nov. 26) episode of Watch What Happens Live, the reality star confirmed that she’s going “out of [her] way” to avoid saying the country singer’s name in front of cameras.

Andy Cohen, who has been hosting this week’s episodes from Bravo Fan Fest in Miami, sent the audience into roars when he asked Richards if this was a conscious choice she was making.

“So shady, Andy,” Richards said. “Yes, I’m trying to be respectful of someone who does not want to be on a reality show or discussed on a reality show. So I’m just trying to be respectful. I’m signed up to do this. She is not.”

After Richards announced her separation from longtime husband Mauricio Umansky, many began to speculate that she was dating Wade, who made several cameos in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 13. While Richards has vehemently denied the romance rumors, she did agree to star as Wade’s love interest in her steamy music video last year, which only amped up talks about her sexuality.

When the Bravo show returned for Season 14, Richards revealed that while she and Wade were still not a couple, the constant speculation did make her question her sexuality.

“Even being comfortable enough to say that was a very big deal for me,” she told DECIDER over a Zoom interview. “So I guess that would be the update, that I’m even comfortable to say that. That was part of figuring all of that out.”

According to Richards, she wanted to speak with her four daughters before saying anything publicly.

“It was important for me to have that conversation with my daughters because there was so much talk and speculation, which is what actually got me even thinking about it,” she said. “To be honest, that would never have crossed my brain ever in a million years.”

“I wanted to lead by example by being open and honest and having that very difficult conversation, in case they ever needed to come to me about anything difficult,” Richards continued. “They know we have an ‘everything is on the table’ policy — I accept you [and] love you, no matter what.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
