The Warriors (7-9) find themselves in the 11th place in the Western Conference after 15 regular season games. Despite retaining most of the players from last year’s championship winning squad, the team is not playing as contender yet.

Some analysts, such as Stephen A. Smith, suggested for Golden State to make majors trades and move Klay Thompson to get Kevin Durant.

But according to NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, the Dubs are not looking to make major changes just 15 games into the season and instead want to see if the issues can be fixed internally first.

“I think for Golden State there’s still some belief that they can get those young players that, like Stephen A. said, that they hope they’re going to take a leap this year and Jordan Poole is going to play better basketball for them,” Woj said on ESPN’s NBA Countdown.

“I think right now for Golden State they believe they have time on their side and they’re not looking at potential dramatic upheaval, certainly just 15 games into the season.”
