‘Suits’ Alum Gabriel Macht Reveals He and Wife Jacinda Barrett Have Moved Out of the U.S.
Tom Green found greener pastures up north.
Two decades after living among the stars in Los Angeles, the comedian reflected on his decision to move back to his native Canada in 2021.
“I’m not really a Hollywood guy,” Tom admitted to The New York Times in an interview published Jan. 25. “I started to feel like I wasn’t being true to my authentic self.”
Indeed, his new life on a 150-acre farm in rural Ontario near his family alongside donkeys and chickens is a stark shift from his years in the dazzling lights of L.A.
“There’s a sort of a wholesome heartwarming thing to this,” he explained of his lifestyle, “that I have a close relationship with my family, that I love animals, that I enjoy doing a lot of things that a great many people in the world enjoy doing, like getting out into the woods.”
The 53-year-old—who was married to Drew Barrymore from 2000 to 2001—admitted that his move, in part, is due to his belief that within the next 100 years, “cities may no longer be as relevant.”
