Who Is Jana Duggar’s Husband Stephen Wissmann? Everything to Know
Jana Duggar has married her prince charming.
And while the 19 Kids and Counting alum only got engaged to her future husband Stephen Wissmann in June ahead of their Aug. 15 wedding, the couple have a long history together.
“[The Wissmann’s] would travel and sing,” Jana told People of her future in-laws. “I remember them coming to our home, probably 13 or so years ago and they ended up getting snowed-in here, which hardly ever happens in Arkansas.”
Noting that at the time Stephen wasn’t “at all on my radar” due to their age difference—she is 34 and he is 31—Jana said it wasn’t until later that she reconnected with the Nebraska native.
The future spouses briefly dated a few years go, and though they broke things off, they kept in touch, and as Jana put it, “talked to each other on and off over the years.”
Who Is Stephen Wissmann’s Family?
While he’s not from a family of 19, Stephen is one of 13 siblings, and coincidentally, Jana’s brother Jeremiah Duggar ended up marrying Stephen’s sister, Hannah. The pair eventually reconnected in early 2024, and Jana noted how her future husband was willing to accept the chaos that came with marrying into the Duggar family.
