Where each NFL team (including Giants) ranks in OL spending in 2024

The New York Giants have invested heavily in their offensive line over the past decade, both in draft assets and salary. The results have not reflected that investment as the team routinely ranks near the bottom of the league in O-line productivity.

In 2023, the Giants sported the second-worst offensive line in NFL history, allowing 85 sacks (an average of 5.0 per game).

It was back to the drawing board for general manager Joe Schoen this offseason. He responded by signing veterans Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor, Matt Nelson, Austin Schlottmann, and Aaron Stinnie but failed to add a body during the 2024 NFL draft.

Still, the total spend is significant. The Giants continue to invest more in the OL than most other NFL teams.

With help from Spotrac, here is where the Giants rank among the rest of the NFL in spending along the offensive line, with each team’s 2024 cap hit being the benchmark.
