What we learned from Giants' 28-6 loss to Vikings

The New York Giants fell to the Minnesota Vikings, 28-6, in their 2024 season opener at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

To say the loss was disappointing would be an injustice. Deflating is more like it. They did few things right in the first game of the franchise’s 100th season and it’s difficult to see how this season is going to be any better than last season when they finished 6-11.

They were outplayed, outcoached, and outclassed by a Vikings team that is not predicted by many experts to make the NFC Playoffs this season.

If Sam Darnold can carve the Giants up like this, what are Dak Prescott and Jalen Hurts going to do to them?

Here are a few things we learned from the game.
