Warriors fixed on keeping Podziemski in pursuit of Markkanen
The Golden State Warriors are determined to retain second-year guard Brandin Podziemski amidst their pursuit of Utah Jazz star forward Lauri Markkanen.
According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, the Warriors are adamant about not trading Podziemski, whom they value highly within the organization.
“The don’t want to trade him. He’s beloved organizationally… one of the rare aspects to him, compared to the Warriors’ other recent picks, is Steve Kerr couldn’t keep him off the floor as a rookie,” Slater said on 95.7 The Game.
