VPR’s Lala Kent Claps Back at “Mom Shaming” Over “Hot” Photo
Lala Kent is fully embracing the best days of her life.
After the Vanderpump Rules star faced criticism from online users for a sharing an Instagram post that featured both a photo of her daughter Ocean, 2, alongside a sultry photo of herself posing in a black bodysuit, the Bravo star addressed the comments head-on.
“I’m so over the mom shaming from some of you women,” she wrote in a July 13 Instagram Story post. “I’m a parent, work full time, rarely have one moment for just me, and for just one second on the 4th of July I felt hot and wanted a picture.”
The 32-year-old added, “Anything but praise is unwelcome. If you have anything negative to say, go f–-k yourself. Leave me alone.”
Referring to the photo that showcased both Ocean and Scheana Shay‘s 2-year-old daughter, Summer, the Give Them Lala podcast host noted, “For the record, the kids weren’t watching me take this picture. And even if they were, we all have butts. Take time to love on yours.”
