Tyronn Lue: Team USA wasn’t prepared for FIBA game at 2023 World Cup

Tyronn Lue, head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers and assistant coach for Team USA, reflected on the national team’s readiness during the 2023 FIBA World Cup.

Despite boasting a formidable roster last year, Team USA faltered, failing to win gold or even medal, finishing fourth after a defeat against Canada.

This year’s squad features just two returning players, Anthony Edwards and Tyrese Haliburton, alongside seasoned NBA veterans like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Jayson Tatum, Devin Booker, and Joel Embiid, among others.
