Tyreek Hill has wild comparison for connection with Tua Tagovailoa
Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a crazy comparison for his connection with quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
New Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill has been quarterback Tua Tagovailoa’s biggest supporter this offseason. That was evident when he compared his new quarterback to his former signal-caller in Patrick Mahomes.
Hill had Tagovailoa as a guest on his podcast, “It Needed to be Said,” where he told listeners to “expect a Dennis Rodman and Carmen Elektra connection.” That caused Tagovailoa to break out in laughter, with Hill saying that he was Rodman. The quarterback responded by saying if Hill is Rodman than he is Michael Jordan.

That is certainly a comparison. Tagovailoa could not keep it together when hearing Hill say it.
This is an all-important season for Tagovailoa, considering that fellow 2020 first-round quarterbacks Joe Burrow and Justin Herbert have had much more success than he has with the Dolphins. The organization prioritized helping Tagovailoa this offseason, and on paper, they look to have done so.
Tagovailoa has a new left tackle in Terron Armstead and new running backs to lean upon in Chase Edmonds, Raheem Mostert, and Sony Michel, along with an offensive-minded head coach in Mike McDaniel. But the biggest move was the team acquiring Hill from the Kansas City Chiefs in a trade, and signing him to a four-year, $120 million contract.
Dolphins fans are getting that much closer to seeing the Tagovailoa and Hill connection on the field, as they look to make the playoffs in what will be a tough AFC.
