Ty Lue reveals Clippers’ plan for Paul George’s return
The Clippers will start the first round series against the Suns without Paul George who suffered a knee injury in March.
He is expected to be available at some point in the playoffs, but head coach Tyronn Lue says that the team will not rush him and will not risk of the All-Star sustaining a further injury.
“When he comes back, we’ll make sure he’s close to 100 percent without being able to injure himself even more,” Lue said, via Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN.
George averaged 23.8 points, 6.1 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 34.6 minutes per game during the regular season.
