Travis Kelce fans push for Taylor Swift engagement after Josh Allen reveal
Your move, Travis Kelce.
At least that’s what NFL fans are suggesting following Bills quarterback Josh Allen’s engagement to actress-singer Hailee Steinfeld, which was revealed over the weekend, as supporters of the Chiefs tight end remain hopeful of a Taylor Swift proposal.
Not long after Kelce, 35, congratulated Allen, 28, via Instagram on Friday, one user replied to the three-time Super Bowl champion, “You next,” while another added, “Your move bro.”
Kelce and Swift, 34, were first linked in September 2023, and their love story has continued to dominate headlines ever since.
Swift also “liked” Allen and Steinfeld’s engagement post, which the quarterback shared Friday on Instagram.
Allen was pictured proposing to Steinfeld, 27, against a scenic backdrop complete with a flower arch and candles.
The pair were first spotted in New York together in May 2023.
The sighting came weeks after Allen found himself at the center of breakup rumors with longtime girlfriend Brittany Williams.
Williams, who dated Allen for years, took to Instagram over the weekend, alleging her account was hacked after a disparaging comment was posted about the two-time Pro Bowler.
In response to the comment, “Haven’t found the next pro athlete yet??” a response from her account wrote in part, “Don’t have to be with another brain dead CTE athlete.”
“My accounts have been hacked several times tonight. Trying to get it resolved. If anyone has any tips please lmk,” she wrote on Instagram.
Steinfeld, who was previously linked to singer Niall Horan, has a history with Swift as she appeared in the 14-time Grammy winner’s star-studded music video for her 2014 song “Bad Blood.”
Swift, set to wrap her blockbuster Eras Tour next week in Vancouver, returned to Arrowhead Stadium on Friday to support Kelce as the Chiefs topped the Raiders, 19-17.
The Chiefs visited Allen and the Bills — sans Swift — in Week 11, with Buffalo handing Kansas City its first loss of the season.
The Bills will host the 49ers on “Sunday Night Football” as winter storm conditions impact Buffalo.
