Mohamed Salah, midfielder (13.0m)

At 13.0m Mohamed Salah is the most expensive player FPL once again.

However, much like every season, Salah is a must-have if you are to stand any chance of finishing high in your respective FPL leagues.

Salah ended 2021/22 with the joint-most goals in the Premier League, 23. He also notched the most assists in the English top-flight with 13, making him the highest-scoring player on FPL yet again.

Alexander-Arnold, defender (7.5m)

Again, Trent Alexander-Arnold is an expensive defender but he is one your probably should have in your side.

Liverpool are superb defensively and kept 20 clean sheets last year, which is great for Trent.

But what sets Alexander-Arnold apart from other defenders is his impressive assist tally. Last season the Englishman provided 12 assists in the Premier League, a total only bettered by the aforementioned Salah.

Luis Diaz, midfielder (8.0m)

The last player you should consider signing from Liverpool is Luis Diaz. At 8.0m the Colombian could be a serious bargain on FPL this year.

The winger had a superb first half of a season in England earlier this year and, now Sadio Mane has left the club, it is expected that Diaz will see a lot more action this campaign.

Granted, with Diogo Jota also a natural left-winger, there is a risk of rotation, but Jurgen Klopp did appear to prefer Diaz over Jota on the left in 2021/22.
