Tim Hardaway Sr. calls out Jason Kidd for lack of dignity while not playing his son in playoffs
Former NBA star Tim Hardaway Sr. recently spoke out about Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd’s decision not to play his son, Tim Hardaway Jr., during last season’s playoffs.
Hardaway Jr. had been a key contributor for the Mavericks, averaging 14.4 points and 26.8 minutes per game in the regular season.
However, during the playoffs, his role drastically diminished, with his minutes dropping to just 12.7 per game. Hardaway Jr. averaged 4.4 points and 1.8 rebounds during the Mavericks’ postseason run, which ended in the Finals against the Boston Celtics.
