Terance Mann named fifth starter for the Clippers
Ty Lue revealed that Terance Mann is set to be a starter for the Los Angeles Clippers in the upcoming season.
Mann will be alongside Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Russell Westbrook, and Ivica Zubac in the starting lineup.
Lue pointed to Mann’s defensive versatility as a key factor influencing his decision.
“We can start him on a point guard, where we can put him on Steph [Curry] and Dame [Lillard] and guys like that,” said Lue.
“Then we can play him on [bigger players such as Lauri Markkanen] if we have to, and just his versatility of being able to guard point guards as well as 2s, 3s and 4s I think makes the most sense right now.”
