In preparation for the 2023 FIBA World Cup, featuring Team USA against Greece, Jordan, and New Zealand in Group B, Steve Kerr has joined Spanish football club RCD Mallorca’s leadership. The club, owned by Andy Kohlberg, also includes Steve Nash as a shareholder.

“I am a friend of Andy Kohlberg and we were together this summer. He told me that there has been a change in ownership and he offered me the option of being part of the new investment group. I am very motivated, I was in Mallorca last summer watching a match, supporting the team, and becoming a fan. It’s a very exciting opportunity,” Kerr said.

“I became a fan of RCD Mallorca last year and by becoming involved in the Club now I will see all the La Liga matches. It is quite motivating and not only from a point of view as a shareholder but with everything that involves putting your heart in and being part of the Club and that is exciting.”
