SS Rajamouli is presently in Japan to promote the Netflix documentary RRR: Behind & Beyond, which was released in cinemas with Japanese subtitles on Friday. As part of the media interaction, the filmmaker discussed various things about RRR and what went into the making.  While Jr NTR appeared as Komaram Bheem, Ram Charan was seen as Alluri Seetharama Raju.

Komuram Bheemudo is one of the highlights of the action entertainer. The song which was shot on Jr NTR and Ram Charan and was a blockbuster. Talking about Jr NTR’s artistic aptitude during the media interaction, Rajamouli said that he wanted to give a lot of credit to choreographer Prem Rakshit for the way he composed the movements of Jr NTR in Komuram Bheemudo song. Prem did a lot of research and hard work on how Jr NTR needs to be tied with ropes, how he needs to stand, what emotions he should go through, etc.

“Shooting the song was easy because Tarak (NTR) looked like a man who is possessed. We all know that he’s a fantastic actor but in this particular song he was at a different level shooting for the song. Every expression he gave including the minutest muscle moment on his forehead or the jaw everything was perfect. I just had to place the camera and play the song and it would come out beautifully,” shared the filmmaker.



Sung by Kaala Bhairava and composed by M M Keeravani, the song which emotes a strong patriotic feeling, is written by popular lyricist Sudhala Ashok Teja.  NTR getting publicly whipped under the orders of the tyrannical British has caught the attention of everyone. The actor reportedly shot with a background crowd of 600 people under scorching heat, barefoot. He was supposed to have a lot of blood on his face and body which was done by multiple make up. And NTR reportedly wrapped up the song shooting in 15 days.
