Slot remaining tight-lipped on Liverpool contract extensions
Liverpool boss Arne Slot says fans will have to wait and see what happens regarding the future of key players Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mohammed Salah.
All three players could leave the club next summer as free agents but are rumoured to be in talks to extend their stay at Anfield.
Alexander-Arnold has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, but recently quashed rumours, expressing his desire to stay at Liverpool and that fans should not panic when it comes to his future.
Salah was touted to leave Merseyside this summer for the Saudi Pro League, but the Premier League giants managed to keep hold of their star winger, who has started the season with four goals and four assists.
And Slot remains delighted to have such quality in his squad, but did not give much in terms of an update on any potential extensions.

Speaking in his press conference ahead of the weekend’s action, he said: “”I’m very happy that these players are in my team at the moment.
“There’s a lot of games this season and in the upcoming weeks, let’s see what happens in the future.
“I learn day by day all of the time about my players.
“Of course you know the quality, you can see it.
“We haven’t had many setbacks, we had the Forest game but that’s it. How do we react to setbacks, we have to learn day by day.
“That’s what I’m doing and you have to adjust to trigger them to get the best out of them.”

Good, but not perfect
Liverpool will take on the Wolves this weekend, a team that has struggled to pick up points.
It could be another fruitful weekend for Slot, who has only lost once since taking over from Jurgen Klopp this summer.
He added: “I think it’s been a positive start, with the small disappointment of losing to Nottingham Forest.
“It is always disappointing to lose at home, especially with a team not challenging for the top four, but you never know what Forest are going to do this season.
“The style of play is similar to the last nine years, but that’s good because the squad is similar to what Jurgen (Klopp) had.
“Maybe it will get harder because of the next fixtures.
“It has been a good start, but not a perfect one.”
