Six players on injury report for Game 2 between Lakers and Warriors
The Lakers and Warriors will face off in Game 2 of the Western Conference Semifinals tonight. The Lakers currently lead the series 1-0 after a hard-fought victory in Game 1.
The Lakers, who eliminated the Grizzlies in the first round, will be looking to extend their lead in the series, but they have some injury concerns to contend with. Mo Bamba is listed as questionable with left ankle soreness, while Anthony Davis and LeBron James are both probable with right foot injuries.
The Warriors, on the other hand, are dealing with injuries of their own. Patrick Baldwin Jr. is questionable with left toe soreness, while Andre Iguodala and Ryan Rollins are both out with injuries.
The Warriors opened the first round series with two losses against the Kings, but they were able to come back and win the series 4-3. They will be hoping to bounce back from their Game 1 defeat against the Lakers and level the series tonight.
The Lakers will need another strong performance from their star duo of Davis and James, who combined for 52 points in Game 1. The Warriors will be counting on their own stars, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, to lead the team to victory.
Game 3 and Game 4 of the series will be played in Los Angeles, so the Warriors will be looking to take advantage of their home court advantage in Game 2 before heading to LA for the next two games. The Lakers, meanwhile, will be looking to continue their strong play and take a commanding lead in the series.
Ahead of tonight’s game, the Warriors are considered favorites amongst bookmakers, with NBA lines site Betway pricing them at -200 to beat the Lakers. The NBA odds for Los Angeles to win this game are at +190.
