Sights and sounds from Day 9 of New York Giants’ training camp
The New York Giants wrapped up their ninth practice of training camp on Sunday and will now host the Detroit Lions for joint practices over the next two days. The two teams will then square off in their first preseason game on Thursday night.
Before the Giants took the field, head coach Brian Daboll revealed that tight end Jack Stoll suffered a concussion earlier in the week, while wide receiver Bryce Ford-Wheater is dealing with a lower leg issue. Neither player practiced.
They were joined on the sideline by the same group of walking wounded, including center John Michael Schmitz (shoulder). Right tackle Evan Neal also remains sidelined as he continues his recovery.
On the positive end of the injury spectrum, offensive lineman Joshua Ezeudu, who was carted off the field on Friday, had suffered from heat exhaustion. He returned on Sunday, as did wide receivers Darius Slayton and Isaiah McKenzie.
Here’s a look at some of the sights and sounds from Sunday’s practice.
