Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 26 in Canada’s first prep win
The Oklahoma City Thunder star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander managed to achieve a score of 26 points within a time frame of under 20 minutes, aiding Canada in securing a victory with a score of 107-66 against New Zealand. This victory marked Canada’s initial success in the lead-up matches leading to the 2023 FIBA World Cup.
Nickeil Alexander-Walker contributed 13 points for Canada and eight rebounds while Kelly Olynyk dropped 13 points as well. RJ Barrett and Lou Dort also concluded the game with a tally of 11 points each.
