Selena Gomez says she’s single amid Drew Taggart dating rumors

She’s not in the back seat of anyone’s Rover.

Selena Gomez clarified she is single in a since-deleted Instagram Story post on Thursday amid rumors she is dating The Chainsmokers member Drew Taggart.

“I like being alone too much,” the “Same Old Love” singer captioned a black-and-white photo of the sky behind a mountain range.

Gomez, 30, added the hashtag, “#iamsingle.”

In the gloomy picture, fans noticed that there was a man’s head at the very bottom of the frame, though most people concluded that the thick head of hair did not belong to Taggart.

The post was only on the former Disney Channel star’s Story for a few minutes before she took it down.

Gomez’s relationship status clarification comes just a few days after she and Taggart, 33, were romantically linked.

A source told Us Weekly on Monday that the “Only Murders in the Building” star and the DJ were seeing each other in a “very casual and low-key” manner and “having a lot of fun together.”

“They aren’t trying to hide their romance by sneaking around at members-only clubs,” the source said, adding that the pair liked to “go bowling and to the movies.”

Page Six then exclusively obtained photos of Gomez and Taggart on a bowling date at The Gutter in Brooklyn. An eagle-eyed spy told us the stars were being flirty and “making out” like teenagers during their outing on Sunday.

Amid the chatter, Taggart’s ex-girlfriend, model Eve Jobs, deleted her Instagram, though it is unclear why.

The 24-year-old daughter of late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs started dating Taggart last summer, but their relationship has clearly fizzled amid his PDA with Gomez.

A source told Us Weekly that Eve’s breakup from the music producer was amicable.

While Taggart has not divulged any information about where he stands with Eve or Gomez, he has been open about his sex life in general.

He and his Chainsmokers bandmate, Alex Pall, admitted during their recent appearance on the “Call Her Daddy” podcast that they have engaged in multiple threesomes with fans.

Gomez, for her part, seemingly has been on the market for quite some time.

She last publicly dated Justin Bieber on and off for several years until their final breakup in March 2018, just months before the “Sorry” singer, 28, married Hailey Bieber. She also had a 10-month relationship with The Weeknd in 2017.

Since then, the actress, who also has been tied to Zedd and Charlie Puth, has kept her dating life out of the spotlight.

Her grandmother did, however, expose a recent split in a July 2022 TikTok video.
