Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs returns to Instagram to celebrate daughter Chance’s 18th birthday
Sean “Diddy” Combs returned to Instagram to celebrate another year around the sun for his eldest daughter, Chance Combs.
“My babygirl turned 18 today,” he captioned the Instagram post.
“I’m so proud of you Chance. I love you. @myfancychance 🖤🙏🏿💫⚡️✨.”
The “Act Bad” rapper, 54, shared a photo of the teen, whom he shares with Sarah Chapman, on the beach in a crochet dress. He also shared a throwback photo of him and Chance taking a nap together.
The future NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts student thanked her dad for the sweet birthday shoutout in the comments of his post, writing, “thank youu❤️💕 i love you.”
Sean’s post to his daughter comes a month after he wiped his Instagram clean — including the video of him apologizing for abusing ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura.
Last November, the “Me & U” singer, 37, filed a lawsuit against the dad of seven, whom she dated on and off for 10 years, accusing him of rape and physical abuse.
The exes settled the suit the next day.
In May, video footage of one of the physical altercations Ventura described in her lawsuit was released by CNN.
In the hotel video surveillance taken in March 2016, Sean punched and kicked the singer as she tried to flee in an elevator.
The Bad Boy Records founder issued an apology on Instagram for his actions in the video, saying that his behavior was “inexcusable” and that he was “disgusted” with himself.
In March, Sean’s Miami and Los Angeles homes were raided by Homeland Security in connection with an ongoing sex trafficking investigation.
The Grammy winner is currently facing seven additional lawsuits, accusing him of a range of sexual misconduct and other illegal activity.
He has denied all claims.
