Scottie Scheffler has wild meltdown at BMW Championship
An angry Scottie Scheffler appeared at the BMW Championship on Friday.
The world No. 1 golfer and Ridgewood, New Jersey native had a profanity-laced tirade on the 10th hole of the tournament’s second round after a shot missed the green entirely.
“How is that possible? How?! How?!?!” He pleaded angrily in the direction of his caddie.
Scheffler had already hit his second shot directly into the water on the par-4 hole and followed up with this attempt, which seemed to leave him in genuine disbelief.
Scheffler’s rant didn’t end there either.
“How is that possible?” he asks one more time before adding, clearly, “What the f–k?!”
He concluded with another “That’s impossible” shortly after.
He ended the hole with a double bogey, but he did manage to shoot an even 72 for the round despite the setback.
Scheffler is tied for 29th place and at 1-under in the tournament.
This year, he has already won his second Masters while also tying for seventh at The Open Championship.
