The Milwaukee Bucks have reportedly inquired about Grayson Allen’s value in the trade market.

Sources told Jake Fischer of Yahoo! Sports that the Bucks have tapped several teams and asked for Allen’s trade prospects. He noted that the club has been sticking their interest on the Phoenix Suns’ estranged forward Jae Crowder.

Fischer further opined that a one-for-one swap between the Bucks and the Suns is possible, as the contract of the two has been matchable, though Crowder has an expiring deal and will be a risky return should he decides to ultimately test the free agency waters next offseason as an unrestricted asset.

The Bucks have been enjoying Allen’s service so far this season, who is averaging 10.8 points, 2.8 boards and 2.7 assists in a career-high 42.6 percent shooting from long distance. Amid his stellar production, his reliability was put on a test on the team’s failed playoff run last season, wherein they crumbled against eventual East champions Boston Celtics in seven-gruelling series games.

With Cam Johnson out for over a monthas he recovers from his meniscus surgery, the Suns have been expected to shop Crowder, who has been out of their basketball activities since the beginning of last training camp.

It remains yet to be seen if a deal can take place that involves both sides. As such, it could be a win-win situation, with the Bucks gaining a significant 3-and-D wing on their closing situations while the Suns adding another needed spark plug contributor.
