The “Love on the Brain” singer shared a message after her boyfriend—with whom she shares RZA Athleston, 2, and Riot Rose, 18 months—being acquitted of two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm allegedly stemming from a 2021 argument with former bandmate Terell Ephron, also known as A$AP Relli.
“THE GLORY BELONGS TO GOD AND GOD ALONE!” Rihanna wrote on her Instagram Story Feb. 18. “THANKFUL, HUMBLED BY HIS MERCY!”
The Fenty Beauty founder also added a prayer hands emoji to the post, which came just after she and Rocky—whose real name is Rakim Mayers—celebrated his being found not guilty together in the court room.
Immediately after the verdict was read in the courtroom, the “F–kin’ Problems” rapper turned around and made his way to Rihanna, who was sitting in the front row. Rocky then jumped over the railing to hug her as she smiled and wrapped her arms around him as fellow attendees could also be heard celebrating the verdict.
