Ricky Martin posts rare photo of 14-year-old son Valentino
Their resemblance is loca.
Ricky Martin shared a rare photo of his 14-year-old son Valentino looking all grown up and just like his dad.
“Baby no more,” Martin, 51, captioned a photo of his son posted to his Instagram on Thursday, adding, “#myson #Tino 14 years old.”
In the photo, Valentino is seen with a wispy mustache and swoopy black hair that resembles his father’s own ‘do.
Friends and fans of the “Livin’ la Vida Loca” singer flooded the comments section of the post to gush over Martin’s teenage son.
“WOW! Doppelgänger! Time goes so fast,” Andy Cohen commented on the post.
“How?!! Wooooow time fly’s [sic] !!” singer Joel Deleōn wrote.
“Not possible, they were babies yesterday,” a second agreed.
“My god he’s grown so much!” a fan wrote, with another adding, “Like father, like son ❤️.”
Martin and his husband, Jwan Yosef, share Valentino and his twin brother, Matteo, both of whom were welcomed via gestational surrogacy in August 2008. They also share 4-year-old daughter Lucia, who was born on Martin’s birthday, and 4-year-old son Renn, whom they welcomed in 2019.
Martin and Yosef started dating in 2016 and got married a year later.
The Grammy winner has kept his children out of the spotlight, though his family drama made headlines when Martin’s nephew accused him of incest.
Dennis Yadiel Sanchez, who is the son of Ricky’s half-sister Vanessa Martin, claimed that he had been in a seven-month relationship with his uncle. Ricky denied the allegations at the time, calling them “untrue” and “disgusting.”
However, last June, Sanchez withdrew his claims and the case was dismissed.
“The accuser confirmed to the court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his alone, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter,” lawyers Joaquín Monserrate Matienzo, Carmelo Dávila and Harry Massanet Pastrana said in a joint statement at the time.
Yosef, 38, broke his silence on the accusations a month later, taking to Instagram with a post that stated, “Truth Prevails.”
Ricky hit back by suing his nephew for $20 million, claiming Sanchez began sending him messages through Instagram, in which he allegedly threatened to “assassinate his reputation and integrity” if he didn’t pay up. Ricky added that he and his family feel “unsafe.”
