REPORT: Jordan Poole Finalizing Four-Year, $140 Million Extension
The Golden State Warriors and Jordan Poole are reportedly set to finalize a four-year, $140 million contract extension, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
The sides are reportedly close to crossing the Ts and dotting the Is on the rookie scale extension. According to Poole’s representatives, a formal agreement is expected to be completed later on Saturday. Poole’s extension comes days before Monday’s deadline for 2019 Draft class members.

Poole’s extension solidifies the Warrior’s commitment and belief in Poole as a franchise cornerstone. At 23-years-old, Poole has become one of Golden State’s more solidified offensive weapons as they look to defend their fourth championship in eight seasons.

Last season, Poole averaged a career-high 18.5 points, 4.0 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game. During the Warriors’ run to the 2022 NBA championship, Poole averaged 17.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game and scored 25 points on 60 percent shooting six times, according to ESPN. That run of 25+ point outings Poole tied with Jerry West (1968 postseason) for second-most in a single-postseason, right behind Andrew Toney in 1982.
