‘Reacher’ Spinoff Starring A Fan-Favorite Is On “Fast-Track” To Development At Amazon: Report

Can’t get enough of Reacher? Another series may be in store.

Deadline reports that writers Nick Santora and Nicholas Wootton are joining forces on a spin-off that, if greenlit, would center on Maria Sten‘s Frances Neagley.

The series would be called Neagley and is “on fast-track to development.” The spinoff is also slated to feature appearances from the flagship series’ titular character, Jack Reacher (Alan Ritchson).

Amazon declined confirmation when reached by DECIDER.

Season 2 of Reacher was released on Prime Video over the course of December 2023 and January 2024, and per a Jan. 24 press release, the show ranked as the #1 title on Prime Video worldwide across both series and movies in 2023 during its premiere weekend (based on viewership).

Meanwhile, Season 3 of Reacher was renewed in December 2023, and will adapt Lee Child‘s Persuader, which marked the seventh book in his Jack Reacher series. Sten was confirmed to return for the third installment of Reacher as Frances Neagley.

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny actor and bodybuilder Olivier Richters, otherwise known as “The Dutch Giant,” was cast as Paulie in the show’s Season 3.

Santora, Child, and Ritchson are executive producers of Reacher Season 3, as well as Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, and David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance.

Per Deadline, Santora and Child would also be executive producing the new spinoff, alongside Wootton, Don Granger, and Lisa Kussner, as well as Ellison, Goldberg, and Matt Thunell for Skydance Television. The series would be overseen for Prime Video by Carolyn Harris, Kenny Madrid, and Niko Fernandez.
