Prince George, Princess Charlotte and King Charles III have matching friendship bracelets
Royal friends forever.
Prince George looked all grown up in his 11th birthday portrait, released Monday, but eagle-eyed fans spotted a sweet detail in his picture: a braided friendship bracelet just like the ones his sister, Princess Charlotte, and grandfather, King Charles III, have worn this summer.
The future king looked dapper in a black suit for the photo — snapped by mom Kate Middleton, 42 —pairing his business-like look with what appears to be the same embroidery thread bracelet he wore with a navy suit to the Euros finals on July 14.
King Charles III, 75, and Princess Charlotte, 9, also got in on the friendship fun at recent royal events, sporting the homemade-style pieces as well.
Charlotte — who fans speculate could be the artist behind the looks — wore two during a trip to the Wimbledon championships with mom Kate Middleton, 42, and aunt Pippa Middleton, 40, while George and dad Prince William, 42, were in Germany.
She wore her pink-and-purple and rainbow-hued bracelets with a navy polka-dot dress and pink Ray-Ban sunglasses ($102) while taking in the men’s tennis finals.
Her grandpa (otherwise known as the king) went on to wear a similar style around his wrist for a royal visit to the Channel Islands with Queen Camilla last week.
The British monarch revealed a bracelet made from twisted fuchsia and white thread as he waved to crowds in Guernsey on July 16, wearing the knotted design with a gray suit and white dress shirt.
Perhaps one of his grandkids made the style so they could stay close (and match) wherever they go.
