Pistons owner responds to “Sell the team!” chants
In a challenging stretch for the Detroit Pistons (2-26), their 25th consecutive loss came at the hands of the Utah Jazz (11-18), fueling frustration among fans and bringing the team perilously close to an undesirable NBA single-season record.
With one more loss, the Pistons would tie the record for consecutive losses, currently shared by the 2010-11 Cleveland Cavaliers and the 2013-14 Philadelphia 76ers at 26 games.
As the Pistons grapple with their struggles and the looming record, fans took to expressing their dissatisfaction in a vocal manner.
