Paul George likely to leave the Clippers
The Los Angeles Clippers met with Paul George’s agent, Aaron Mintz, but both sides held their ground. George is now expected to leave the Clippers in free agency.
The Clippers have offered George a three-year contract, while he seeks a four-year deal. Kawhi Leonard signed a similar three-year, $152 million extension in January. The Clippers will now pursue other targets using their $12.9 million non-taxpayer midlevel and $4.7 million biannual exception.
