Patrick Mahomes video shifts point spread
With the evolving story that is Patrick Mahomes health, the Cincinnati Bengals vs. Kansas City Chiefs line continues to shift.
Videos surfaced on Wednesday afternoon of Mahomes at Chiefs practice moving fine on his sprained ankle which moved the line from Chiefs as underdogs to the team as very slight favorites.
The line has been on the move all week, with the Chiefs opening as small favorites, moving to +2.5 and then now sitting back as small favorites, as high as -1 at some books on Thursday morning. Here’s the updated odds:

Patrick Mahomes injury report
The first video emerged of Mahomes stretching at practice and not sporting a noticeable limp with tight end Travis Kelce.
Then there was a video of Mahomes ending his press conference and walking off the stage, again without a limp.
The fact that Mahomes looked fine hinted that his injury may not be as bad as it was initially reported, a high ankle sprain, on Sunday following a nasty hit in the team’s divisional round win against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Clearly bettors are impressed enough with Mahomes health to back Kansas City as there was line movement following these reports and videos. The Chiefs quarterback may not be 100% but he is on track to play and it does appear that he won’t be as limited as many initially thought.
If you’re a believer in Mahomes and that he can move around enough on a compromised ankle to advance to the Super Bowl, now is your time to bet KC.
