Pat Riley on what changes Heat need to make
The Heat exceeded all expectations this season as they reached the NBA Finals despite finishing just 8th in the Eastern Conference.
Team president Pat Riley was asked about what changes he thinks are needed for Miami this season – whether it should major or minor moves.
“Subtle moves will be enough. If they’re the right moves, they’ll be enough this offseason. Hitting the home run is addition by subtraction,” Riley said, via Wes Goldberg.
As far the future goes, Riley says that “Wing size and length… Versatility and length, as we move forward, we’ll emphasize that.” The Heat holds a single draft pick this year – number 18.
