Partizan crushes Cibona in a spectacular second half
Partizan Belgrade made an impressive comeback in the second half against Cibona Zagreb, overcoming a six-point halftime deficit to secure a commanding 96–67 victory.
The defending ABA League champions extended their undefeated streak to 3-0, while their opponents fell to 0-3.
James Nunnally played a pivotal role for Partizan, scoring 14 of his 17 points in the next 10 minutes, contributing to his team’s turnaround as they finished the third period leading 70–67.
The hosts continued their dominance in the final quarter, outscoring Cibona 29–7 and turning the game from a close contest into a decisive win.
Aside from Nunnally’s stellar performance, Balsa Koprivica added 15 points and six rebounds, while Danilo Andjusic contributed 14 points.
On the opposing side, Aleksandar Aranitovic and Jakov Mustavic stood out for Cibona with 21 and 17 points, respectively.
