Paris Jackson Claps Back After Haters Call Her “Haggard” in New Selfie
She continued, “There have been times where I don’t post anything for my dad’s birthday and people lose their f–king minds.”
Paris detailed the harsh comments she’s received in the past when she doesn’t post about the King of Pop, who would have turned 65 on Aug. 29, saying people “told me to kill myself, and they’re basically measuring my love for my own father based off of what I post on Instagram.”
And while the 25-year-old reminded people she’s allowed to celebrate her father however she sees fit, she revealed that she had actually paid tribute, posting a video of herself reflecting on his birthday during a performance.
“He would have been 65 years old today and he put 50 years of blood, sweat and tears and love and passion into doing what he did,” she said at the time, “so I could stand up here on stage, in front of you, and scream into a microphone. I owe everything to him.”
