Former NBA player CJ Miles believes that once Victor Wembanyama reaches his full potential, Olympic gold will be within reach for France.
At just 20 years old, Wembanyama led France in scoring with 26 points in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games final, despite Team USA’s 98-87 victory.
Wembanyama’s emotional reaction after the loss reflects his high aspirations, but Miles is optimistic about his future impact on the international stage.
“Once Victor [Wembanyama] becomes who he will inevitably be, the gold is really up for grabs every four years… I think Wemby has the potential to be literally anything [he wants] and be a great,” Miles told Alex Kennedy.
