Ohio man caught with hamsters down his pants after alleged pet store break-in

His hamster hideout was totally nuts.

An alleged pet shop burglar in Ohio was busted with the furry rodents stuffed down his leopard print onesie, according to wild police body camera footage.

“Our suspect has multiple gerbils in his pants,” a Columbus police officer— who later correctly identified the animals as hamsters — can be heard radioing during the arrest of Matthew Pancake.

In a scene that looks plucked from “Reno 911,” at least three cops are seen waking the animal-print-sporting suspect from a nap on a bench and cuffing him at 4:45 a.m. Tuesday.

“Mr. Pancake, you’re under arrest!” one of the officers can be heard shouting.“Get on your belly!”
