Nuggets considered including Michael Porter Jr. in trade for Paul George

The Denver Nuggets reportedly considered trading Michael Porter Jr. in a potential deal to acquire Paul George from the Los Angeles Clippers.

Sources revealed this possibility to Jake Fischer of Yahoo Sports before George signed a four-year, $212 million contract with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Porter, entering the third year of his five-year, $179 million contract with Denver, played a crucial role in helping the Nuggets win the 2023 NBA championship.

The idea of including Porter in a trade was part of Denver’s strategy to strengthen their roster by adding a star player like George.
