Nintendo Direct September 2022: How to Watch and What to Expect Tomorrow

It has been months since the last Nintendo Direct, but Switch fans won’t have to wait much longer for the next one. The company has recently announced that the next Nintendo Direct is happening tomorrow. If you’re a fan of Nintendo Switch games, you’ll want to tune in for the latest updates on upcoming titles.

If you’re wondering when and where you can tune into the Nintendo livestream tomorrow, we’ve got you covered with everything you need to know below. You can also check out our predictions about what we may see from the stream as well.

Nintendo Direct Livestream (September 2022) Start Time

The Nintendo Direct livestream will begin tomorrow, September 13 at 7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET and will run for about 40 minutes. If you’re hoping to stream the event from across the pond, it’s worth noting that Nintendo UK will not livestream the Direct out of respect for the late Queen. It will instead upload it at 16:00 UK time tomorrow.

Where to Watch the Nintendo Direct Livestream Online

If you’re interested in watching the Nintendo Direct livestream yourself, you can watch it directly from Nintendo’s own Youtube Channel. You will of course also be able to watch the stream after it is over in the same place, or you can browse the highlights on IGN to see what was announced.

What to Expect From the September Nintendo Direct

Unlike the past few years of Nintendo Directs, the company didn’t have its usual summer showcace in June — which could mean some of the biggest announcements of the year will be happening tomorrow instead. While we don’t yet know what will be announced, we know that will be mostly about Nintendo Switch games so there are a few things we can speculate on.

The first big game news we are hoping to see is more info on the much-anticipated Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild sequel that has been delayed all the way to Spring 2023. Nintendo fans are also hoping for more information about Metroid Prime 4, which was announced almost five years ago. It’s also possible, though highligh unlikely, that we could finally get some information on the long-rumored ‘Switch Pro’ that has eluded any sort of confirmation.

Additionally, we could potentially hear more about the games launching this fall — including Bayonetta 3 and Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
