Nikola Jokic crashes Magic huddle in late-game drama
In a moment of lightheartedness, Nikola Jokic injected humor into the closing minutes of a tense matchup between the Orlando Magic and the Denver Nuggets.
As the Magic led 118-115 with 40 seconds left in the fourth quarter and a timeout was called, Jokic sauntered over to the Orlando huddle, playfully standing behind the players as if he were one of their own.
The Magic, seemingly unfazed by the two-time MVP’s antics, reacted with a mix of smiles and nonchalance as they gathered around head coach Jamahl Mosley during the timeout.
Whether Jokic intended to glean insights into Mosley’s tactics or simply added a touch of levity to the game, the outcome remained unchanged – the Nuggets couldn’t turn the tide, and the Magic secured the victory.
