NFL coverage map 2022: TV schedule Week 9

Bills-Jets and Seahawks-Cardinals are among the most interesting NFL matchups in Week 9, but what games will be available in your area?

The month of November is here and the halfway point of the NFL season is coming up. Most teams will have completed nine games after Monday night’s action but there are plenty of byes to come, including six this week as the Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns, Denver Broncos, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers and San Francisco 49ers all get to rest on Sunday.

This will result in a lighter Week 9 slate than usual but it does feature some intriguing games on Sunday, including an AFC East showdown between the Bills and Jets as well as a potential do-or-die NFC clash between the Los Angeles Rams and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Find out what games will be available in your area, along with who is going to be calling the action, below courtesy of the fine folks over at 506 Sports.

Week 9 NFL TV Coverage Maps

Thursday, Nov. 3

Thursday Night Football (Amazon Prime)

Philadelphia Eagles (7-0) at Houston Texans (1-5-1): Al Michaels, Kirk Herbstreit

An ordinarily mundane Thursday matchup is slightly more intriguing because Philadelphia and Houston are also playing in the World Series as well. It’s a safe bet that more people in both cities will be tuned into Game 5 on Thursday night, which will be played in Philadelphia, than watching this game.

Sunday, Nov. 6

FOX (Singleheader)

Green Bay Packers (3-5) at Detroit Lions (1-6) (Red): Kevin Burkhardt, Greg Olsen

Los Angeles Chargers (4-3) at Atlanta Falcons (4-4) (Green): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma

Minnesota Vikings (6-1) at Washington Commanders (4-4) (Yellow): Chris Myers, Mark Schlereth

Carolina Panthers (2-6) at Cincinnati Bengals (4-4) (Orange): Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez

Seattle Seahawks (5-3) at Arizona Cardinals (3-5) (Blue, 4:05 p.m.): Adam Amin, Daryl Johnston

FOX’s single header doesn’t have a true headlining game so the matchups are pretty evenly distributed across the country. The 4:05 game between Seattle and Arizona does have some big markets in play as New York, Boston, Chicago and Miami will be blacked out of 1:00 games and receive this contest.

CBS (Early Window)

Buffalo Bills (6-1) at New York Jets (5-3) (Red): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis

Miami Dolphins (5-3) at Chicago Bears (3-5) (Blue): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green

Indianapolis Colts (3-4-1) at New England Patriots (4-4) (Green): Greg Gumbel, Adam Archuleta

Las Vegas Raiders (2-5) at Jacksonville Jaguars (2-6) (Yellow): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

The lead game in the early window is the Bills-Jets showdown as New York hopes to see quarterback Zach Wilson bounce back from a rough Week 8 performance by playing well against Buffalo’s strong defense. The Detroit market is going to be blacked out from an early game since the Lions will be hosting the Packers on FOX at the same time.

CBS (Late Window)

Los Angeles Rams (3-4) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-5): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

The huge showdown between the Rams and Buccaneers is a full national telecast for CBS. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will be at Raymond James Stadium to see which perennial NFC contender avoids a potentially devastating loss.

Sunday Night Football (NBC)

Tennessee Titans (5-2) at Kansas City Chiefs (5-2): Mike Tirico, Cris Collinsworth

This week’s Sunday night game is a good one as the Chiefs look to improve to 6-2 against the AFC South-leading Titans. This game is important for Tennessee, which has done well against Kansas City over the past few years and blew them out 27-3 last season in Nashville.

Monday, Nov. 7

Monday Night Football (ESPN)

Baltimore Ravens (5-3) at New Orleans Saints (3-5): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

The final game of Week 9 sees Lamar Jackson and the Ravens hit the road for their second straight prime-time game against the Saints at the Superdome. The Manningcast is back on ESPN2 this week before Peyton and Eli take a month off.
